Smarty Template Dates
March 19, 2015, 09:45:53 pm
I  have enabled Smarty and am trying to put in the current date using {$smarty.now|date_format}. When I generate PDF the hard code is still showing up for the date. I have referenced these old posts: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=24674.0 and https://civicrm.org/blogs/lobo/new-22-token-hooks-and-smarty-templates-civimail but am still getting nothing. Using on CiviCRM 4.4.5 on WP 4.1 and Smarty 2.6.27. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Erik Hommel

Try {$yourDate|crmDate}? This is a specific CiviCRM Smarty function that will apply the date format of your install
