Custom Dashboard/Report/Activity

I would like to create a report/ dashboard where I can show all new individual contact created in civicrm in a descending order.
I want to include contact data, custom data & relationship data in different columns. Also directly from that report, I would like to "ASSIGN" a person for certain type "ACTIVITY" of civicrm.

The reason I would like to include this function directly on the report/dashboard is because, if I have 50 new contacts, i would have to go each and every contact and assign activity. and repeatedly have to come back to the report.

Now is that something possible to do at all?
