A client has created 3 smart groups, all with relationship to an organization (one board member of, other 2 employee of).  They do several bulk emails a week.  And the recipient counts are frequently way off (240 vs 1564 as an example).  I found that if I go to Manage Groups and click the Contacts link for each group and let the page load then go to the mailing the total count looks correct.  I can look at the database when testing locally and the group cache table length changes.

The previous newsletter mailing for these groups worked fine.  It's not just these 3 smart groups, its been happening for a while with other groups as well.  The cache timeout is set to the default 5 mins.  The cron job to rebuild the smart groups is running every hour.

Any insights or thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Update: It also seems that if someone stays logged in for a long time (like a week or more) that there is even more trouble with the recipient count and the above workaround doesn't work until they log out and clear browser cache.
