In 4.6.beta4 I went to merge 2 potential duplicates, realised they were not duplicates, and pressed 'mark these contacts as not duplicates'.

That appeared to work, but I got an "Error" message, saying ...

The selected pair of contacts are marked as non duplicates. If these records should be merged, you can remove this exception on the Dedupe Exceptions page.

This is not an error, in 2 senses ...

• the operation worked
• the icon shown is not the red error icon but a yellow warning icon

Should the word "Error" be changed to "Warning".

Should the warning message be changed? The current text would be appropriate if I had pressed 'merge contacts' link, but is a bit confusing after I press 'mark as not duplicates'.

Is the logic that pops up this button being called at the wrong time?

PS - 4.6 is looking grand!

It looks like
a) It's not a regression; this code has been around for a long time.
b) It's going to be a non-trivial cleanup project. There are a lot of things about the non-dupe popup that need updating.
