About to upgrade a client from 3.4.8. Reviewing custom profiles and fields for membership due contribution form.  http://www.sfclt.org/memberships
They created a Contribution Page for Memberships and added a custom profile to "Sponsor A low-income member". (See attached)
The Custom Data field set is created as Used For: "Individual". Should this be set as "Contact"? Will that then automagically create a new Contact record?

Currently, the "Sponsor A low-income member" Info is being saved and contained in the sponsoring member's contact profile but not created as a (new) member contact record.
I think this should be redesigned so that if the Membership Type radio button is selected for "Sponsor a low-income member" that this profile then appears (drops down like for "I am joining on behalf of an organization").

What setting(s) needs to be set for this?
