Including a class in the IIF Export
April 01, 2015, 09:59:52 am
Hi,

I would like to be able to specify a "class" associated with either an account or a financial type and have that value included in the CLASS field in an IIF export.  In Quickbooks we manage our accounts such that all transactions associated with a given account have the same class. Is there a way to do this in CiviContribute Today?

If there is not, and someone knowledgeable about that particular section of CiviContribute could point me in the right direction I would be happy to contribute the code to do it as long as it would be considered for merging into the core.  Thanks!

-Barnaby

Hello Barnaby,

I am pretty sure you cannot do this right now. It looks like it has been asked for before: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,32899.msg144197.html
If you want help with adding the feature you may want to post in the developer forum: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/board,20.0.html
