4.6 upgrade, jQuery missing?
April 07, 2015, 06:31:00 am
I upgraded a test site from 4.5.8 to 4.6.0 and ran into issues with WYSIWYG editor on Mailing screens. I use Drupal Default editor (CkEditor 3.6 with Media 2.0, pop ups disabled). In 4.6 the WYSIWYG selection doesn't work at all for Mailing screens (always CKEditor 4.X Civi package) but does work for other editor screens.

I went to see if there was a new jQuery version (a not uncommon issue with some Drupal modules) and found there was no jquery.js or jquery.min.js (any version) in the civicrm/packages/jquery directory (just css and plugins directories and there subs).

Issues may depend on the jQuery active in the theme CiviCRM uses, in my case jQuery 1.8 in Adaptive Admin theme.

jQuery has been moved as it is now managed by Bower.
The mailing wysiwyg is a known issue and a fix is coming in 4.6.1.
For now you can get around it by disabling drupal js aggregation.

Aggregation is already disabled.

Same problem here. went from 4.58 to 4.6 - aggregation turned off.  Same exact conditions as Neil except ours has Drupal Default Editor set as TinyMCE.  Side note - works everywhere else in civicrm - just not in Mailings.

Thanks for any other help you can give - otherwise we'll upgrade to 4.6.1 as soon as it comes out.

All these issues have been fixed, you can apply the patches yourself, or wait for the 4.6.1 release this coming Wed.

Hi, Im assuming this issue also affects Joomla, as it is exactly what is occurring on my site also.

Where can we find the patches?
