Why aren't activities included in the primary export mapping?
April 08, 2015, 06:33:19 am
Hi all

For the purposes of seeing which contacts in my org's database have no attributes (no Group OR no Tag OR no Activity) and are also On Hold, I need an export of all of that data. I suspect I might need a custom search (I'll see what our Civi developer comes back with), but surely other people need to be able to export all of that and see it on one spreadsheet? I've been demoing 4.6 and regular contact export seems to come up with the same issue.

Maybe I'm missing something?

May be you can use the search builder, and try to break down your search in parts, first you can search for contacts with no tags, and no activities, with this criteria: First Name IS NOT EMPTY ...AND...Last Name IS NOT EMPTY ...AND...Tagged IS NULL ...AND...Activity Type IS NULL ...AND...Contact Type - 'Individual' (considering that all activities must have a type)

and then you can do the same for contacts with no groups. Excel can help if you do your search in batches.
