Add a Phone Type?

I find myself needing to add a new Phone Type to the contacts. How would I go about doing that?

For a little background on why I need this...

We come across a lot of disconnected phone numbers in our office. In the past, we've simply deleted them and moved on. But more and more, we're coming across these numbers again, and they get added back, because there's no good way to log these old numbers.

If anyone can think of a better way to track this information, I'm all ears.

Go to:
Administer > Customize Data and Screens > Dropdown Options > Phone Types
support CiviCRM through 'make it happen' initiatives!

Now I just feel ridiculous. I swear, I looked everywhere for the option, even went so far as to dig through the database tables.

It's not a "wrong place" just pointing out that most people are moving to stackexchange for "how to" questions so that's probably a better place to get answers.
