Changes to mailing not saved not shown correctly on next edit 4.6.0
April 15, 2015, 06:33:51 am
Hi,

I've read some other posts about saving of mailings and I've applied the patch from here - https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-16238

This doesn't seem to have sorted my issue though.

If I create a new mailing or change an existing one it looks as though it saves the changes to the database when I re-open the mailing it shows the old version?? If I open the mailing in another browser it looks correct. This seems like some sort of caching issue or something but I can't work out why?

I have tried deleting the template_c folder and clearing the browser cache but neither help.

It makes it very difficult for any normal user to edit mailings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Dave

Correction, I think I got confused between browsers and sessions.

It looks as though doing a manual browser cache clean does in fact then bring up the new content.

Could anyone look into or help me understand why the mailing form is being stored inthe browser cache in this way? Surely we shouldn't need to clear the browser cache to see the edited content?

Cheers,

Dave
