Cividiscount breaks under WordPress and CiviCRM 4.6

Running CiviCRM 4.6, WP 4.1, Cividiscount 3.0...

Any WP page that has Civi donation or membership page embedded via shortcode is broken with this error repeated as many times as their are active discounts:

Warning: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/.../www/wp-content/plugins/files/civicrm/extensions/org.civicrm.module.cividiscount/CRM/CiviDiscount/DiscountCalculator.php on line 114

I have a new install of 4.6 (WordPress 4.1) that I am working with and installed CiviDiscount version 3.0 and it is working fine. I have only tested with events though.

The problem is with contribution pages, not events, and only when they are embedded in a WP with a shortcode.

CiviDiscount could really use some love from the community. That extension was originally contributed by someone who doesn't have time to maintain it. If you have a little time to investigate that line of code to see why it's causing an error, that would be great.

I've noticed problems with CiviDiscount 3.0 as well as problems in Contribution pages and Memberships in 2.6.  Few people outside of the core team and select partners have the coding expertise to pick it apart.

It's also not listed as working with CiviCRM 4.6.

Can we fund core team work or a "make it happen" to keep the most popular extension compatible and functional?  I would contribute.
