I've upgraded to Civicrm 4.6.2 and I'm now having trouble composing newsletters in CiviMail with the revamped UI.

There are many issues, these are just some I've spotted:
  • Selecting a group from the recipients list returns 0, even though the group is not empty. This blocks me from going on to the next page.
  • The drop down combo boxes appears to be duplicated (e.g. in template, from, recipients) and are not working correctly. The first combo box will appear properly styled, whilst the duplicated one doesn't have the rounded look.
  • There are two "Send Test" buttons. The second one seems out of place and overlapping other controls (just above Delete Draft).
  • All the drop down combo boxes in the other tabs (e.g. Header and Footer) don't work. You select it but you can't change any of the values.

In any case, I'm unable to find any workaround to send the newsletter. Does anyone know what's gone wrong? Or is there anything I can do to fix this? Is it possible to revert to an earlier version of the CiviCRM without causing issues with the database?

I've been using CiviMail for years and this is the first major problem I've had.

Ok, I've seen the following in the error console in Firebug.

Can you try to get a full backtrace from the console (enable backtrace in the scripts tab of your console, or something like that depending on your browser).
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Can't see a "enable backtrace" option in Firefox, but here's what I see in the console's log (forum message limit is 2000 chars so please see link).

think he will mean the options at civicrm/admin/setting/debug?reset=1

I'm seeing the same issues on a site I've just upgraded. Just starting to troubleshoot. It's clear that the js errors are preventing angular from loading properly, and so the select widgets, in particular, are not working.
support CiviCRM through 'make it happen' initiatives!
