Hi,

I am new to CiviCRM, and have a question:

I need to create a Contacts Report which allows us to filter by the date the contact was added to the system (as opposed to modified).   Ideally we would be able to select a date range and generate a report of all contacts added within that range.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Questions now are preferred on Stack Exchange so you might want to ask there.

Depends whether you need a report or just a search.  Take a look at Search -> Custom Searches -> Date Added to CiviCRM
