I'm synchronizing CiviCRM events to Drupal with the CiviCRM hooks

I'm using custom fields on Event.

When using Drupal/CiviCRM hooks both the "pre"/"post", "create"/"edit" on Event I noticed that custom fields aren't saved yet. So there's no way to get the content from them.

Is there a work-around for this problem?
