ERROR: Could not find valid value for ID

Since upgrading Civi 4.6.2 I get this error on submitting a final confirmation for and event:

"Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
Could not find valid value for id"

The transaction goes through and users get confirmation, but many try to submit repeatedly and get double-charged.
