Pb with SMTP +TLS auth

Hello,

This morning, with civicrm,  I was unable to configure a SMTP with TLS authentification.

But this topic help me to fix my problem:

I agree with Ken's suggestion (one year ago) for removing the patch CRM-8744.
What do you think ?

Yes, I will do that next time.

I also found an issue on Jira:
https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-14814

Removing the old patch CRM-8744 works for me.
I have nothing more to add than what is said.
