On an event with a price set, I want to change the quantity (instead of the default 1).

The idea is to set a price per night, and less the registrant choose how long he wants to stay.

I can't find what is the right type of field or thing to do to be able to translate the number entered into the registration page into the quantity.

Any idea ?

I haven't played with this feature for a while, so I might have this wrong, but... I think using the price set field type = Text does this. It gives the user a "text" input field to enter a quantity, and multiplies that by the "Price" you entered for the price set field.

Hi,

You are right. I didn't think about it because I was looking for a 'quantity' or 'integer' or 'number' kind of field, and I didn't think "text" was the one I needed.

FYI: for me "text" was to enter a custom text, eg. "engraved with your name - 50$ :" (write your name in the field)
