Will 1.9 to 2.1 upgrade be possible?

I was wondering if the CiviCRM 2.1 web-based upgrade will be able to upgrade 1.9 sites?  Or will we have to install 2.0, then install 2.1?

2.0 runs on Drupal5

2.1 runs on Drupal6

so u'll need to first upgrade to 2.0, then upgrade drupal and then upgrade to 2.1
