What table is a person's event registration stored in?

I'm bumping an old topic for further clarification.  I have an event set up and have put in a few test registrations.  I've looked in the civicrm_participants table for the names and other info about the registrants, and I'm not seeing it.  All that table has is participant ID, contact ID, register date, etc.

Is there another table where this stuff might be getting stored?  I'm using a custom profile that contains some custom fields, if that matters.

Thanks!

you might want to skim thru the civicrm ERD: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/CiviCRM+ERD+2.0

a lot of contact info is stored in the civicrm_contact table, address info in civicrm_address etc. All custom groups have dynamic tables created that store the custom values

There just doesn't appear to be any good way to extract usable data about your registrants from CiviCRM.  Is there a way to list participants other than just by name and e-mail address?  I'd like to be able to export them to their own table that I can use for mailing next year.

You should use Find Participant,
Select Export Participants from more action
Select fields for exports.

Here you can select fields that you want.

Thanks.  I finally figured out that my custom fields need to be added to the "Individual" group in order to be exported.
