Looking for people that are working on android apps for CiviCRM

I'm of the mobile generation ;-) and the one thing that withholds me form implementing Civicrm in our organization, is that it does not have a functional android app, where one can add and view contacts and more.
Can someone please direct me to a group/forum or anything where people might be working on a native android app?
