CiviCRM on Google VM
September 08, 2015, 12:58:20 am
Hey everyone!

Just deployed CiviCRM on Google VM. The system works perfect. However, it does not operate at all with external service providers, i.e. mailing and sms.

In terms of mailing, I use Mandrill to set up the outbound email. Whenever you try to send the email, the system displays the following message - "Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
DB Error: syntax error"

The same is with sms (the Civi sms module does not allow you to choose Clickatell as option, though on Civi official site it is said to be a main provider).

The question is very simple - to whom I should address these concerns (either to Google or to Civi)?

Thx

Hershel

Enable debugging in CiviCRM and then try again and then post on StackExchange (not here) with the full error message. This looks like a CiviCRM issue.

This is what I get by enabling debugging
