User/Member verification and redirection

We're looking for a way to allow 'paid' members access to a restricted page on a 3rd party site. Make sense?
Rather than have our members go to a 3rd party site and login there, we want them to login at our end and then be redirected to the 3rd party landing page.

We're not sure how to verify the user/member in order to make this happen.

Sorry this is suck noob talk but hopefully my question came through clearly.

Any advice ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

This is more of a SSO (single sign on) / authentication issue and is dealt with at the CMS level (drupal or joomla) within CiviCRM

Your best bet would be to look at modules/components which will enable you to do this. In joomla/drupal, you can look at the SMF bridge stuff which might be doing something similar
