Update Participant/Registrant status using Bar Code
September 21, 2015, 08:05:38 am
We are considering to implement CiviCRM for participants where we have seminars to the size of 50K - 70K Individuals. Our current home grown system, we have feature where we can scan their ID Cards at the counter and it update their attendance on site using that data. If they have not registered, it will pull their data from system and bring up a screen to register them on site.

I wanted to check if this use case can be reproduced in CiviCRM with little customization and if yes,  how do we go about it ? Any help is appreciated.
