In the sandbox site, I entered two contacts with  email address testy@mctest.net and the Individual Email dedupe rule did not catch them. (The rule did catch another set of contacts that had already been entered.) I also entered two other contacts with the email address sophie@sophie.com and a name with one character different (an extra "r" at the end of the last name for one entry) and these were not flagged as duplicates by either the Individual Email or Individual Name and Email rule.

I thought this was the place to report on things related to the 4.7 beta (per the newsletter). Is that not true?

How exactly did you enter the contacts (on which form) and is this a regression from 4.6 (can you try on the 4.6 sandbox to see if you get different results?)
