Register Multiple Particpants
November 17, 2015, 11:22:22 am
This may be a very silly question, but I'm a registrar new to Civi and I want to be able to capture each additional participant's full information when one person is registering multiple people so when I run my event attendee list each person is listed instead of just the name of the person who registered them. I have checked off the register multiple participants box. What setting do I want for the "Profile for Additional Participants (top of page)" and  "Profile for Additional Participants (bottom of page)"? Name and address? Honoree individual? This may be a very basic question, but I'd love some advice! Thanks! :P

First of all, have you checked https://civicrm.stackexchange.com? That is a Question and Answer site which might contain your question and if not you could ask one and then vote the answer which solved the problem for you.

To answer your question. You want to see who registeded the persons rather than all persons individually. So if I sign up 4 people for an event I am listed only once? If the answer is yes. I would change the registration of the event to only register one person and add a custom field which asks for how many people you would bring. If it is  a paid event you could also use pricesets for this.
