How to track in-kind donations?
January 13, 2016, 05:37:10 am
Morning,

I haven't found a good resource yet on the best way to track in-kind (non-monetary) donations in the system. Any tips/guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

~Mary~

This thread looks related:

Note that one of the key terms has changed since then -- "Contribution Types" have been renamed to "Financial Types". The basic concept/process is the same. To make a new one, go to "Administer => CiviContribute => Financial Types". (Why the change? Because "Financial Types" add some more nuanced options for mapping the information to an accounting system.)
