Upgrading 4.7b5 to 4.7b6 problem
January 13, 2016, 01:56:53 pm
I just tried to upgrade from 4.7 beta 5 to 4.7 beta 6 under Drupal 7.  I got this error in the log:
Cannot redeclare class CRM_Core_ClassLoader in [...]/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/ClassLoader.php on line 36

Oddly, I then tried to rollback the install, first by replacing the modules/civicrm with a backed up copy, while not restoring the DB backup.  I got the same error, so then I restored the DB backup and still got the same error.

Then I restored my full Drupal 7 backup and everything worked again (with beta 5).

So, given the continuing error after partial restoring, I'm wondering if that means I made a mistake on the upgrade.    I'm not sure what that would be, as the upgrade process seems pretty straightforward.  But it's odd.

Anyway, I mention it in case it's useful for anyone.

Hello!

Did you empty all caches? Especially "sites/default/files/civicrm/templates_c"?

Bye

No, I didn't.

The only cache related thing I did was truncating the cache table in the database.

I'll retry this in a couple weeks and will make sure to do that then.

Thanks!
