Seeking Civi Developer for commercial Word Press site

OVERVIEW
Website allows teachers to create a profile, and then have students search for, and find their profile according to the criteria they have specified. 
Website allows students build a profile, upload a 10 minute video, and then search for teachers that meet their criteria. Results are produced as a list. Students are directed to a payment page before having the ability to send email to selected teachers.

WE SEEK
A developer to create registration, profile, and search pages for students and teachers using CiviCRM on our Wordpress site. 

KEY SKILLS
Deep experience with:
1 - CiviCRM - build custom profile pages with searchable fields
2 - Building and triggering autoresponder emails
3 - configuring and installing a payment app
3 - database management for a site with large attachments

We are about 10% into the development of this website. Our goal is to have this ready for public display by June 1st. 2016.

We seek a developer who has deep experience with CiviCRM and WordPress. We seek a developer who has the ability to make promises and then deliver on those promises.

Hey Donald:


Have you done any research regarding the potential advantages of doing something like this with Civi and Drupal versus Civi and Wordpress? Many of the necessary integration tools between Drupal and Civi are already built; a solution in WordPress will potentially require more custom coding (and therefore most likely more cost, on the front end and in long term maintenance).


We just recently finished a project that matches teachers requesting volunteers and volunteers registering and signing up for those volunteer commitments, using Drupal and Civi (we specialize in CiviCRM). I'd be happy to show that to you and explore whether or not we might be a fit. I don't know if we are, but even if we aren't (and we may not be) I think you will walk away with some good food for thought.
