Early Discount Rates on Events

Hello,  We are wanting to offer an "early bird" type of pricing for an event.  Would it work to just create two price sets, and just use one price set until a specific date and then switch to the other?

Someone was able to help me out with this.  If anyone else is looking to do this all you need to do is navigate to Administer -> CiviEvent -> Manage Price Sets.    When you create price fields you can specify the "Active On" and "Expire On" dates to have the different pricing show for different date ranges.
