GSOC 2016: Easy Installer
March 10, 2016, 01:00:47 pm
HI,

I am Sachithra Sewwandi, final year computer engineering undergraduate  from faculty of engineering University of Peradeniya, I have experience on oop concepts, and have done several projects on java, javaEE,

I'm also interested on the Project Easy Installer, In here I wish to develop a software to install civicrm firstly on ubuntu and then on windows systems as a enhancement  :) at the moment I have successfully installed civicrm
when trying to sketch on the flow of the software I faced some questions ??
                     1. before downloading the civicrm we need to check the environment set up, so if the environment factors not match with what is required, what do we need to do, do make a note to the user about it and let user manually install it  or, do we need to download and set up the environment needed ??
2.When installing civicrm on wordPress I got list of requirements, like need writable access for several folders etc, but I am unable to find those now, can someone please provide with those requirements

Thank You,
Sewwandi  :)
