Hi,

I'm very new to Civicrm and currently trying to set up an online sign up page.
I did this creating a contribution page with the payment blocks disabled.

My problem is, that the membership record is not created.

From Civicrm's perspective, the membership is free of charge (we handle payment out sie of civicrm). Therefore, for all membersip types, I set the minimum fee to 0 and I disabled the contribution section of the contribution page.
Along with the Membership sign up, we need to save additional data. For this I created two custom data groups and a profile.
I then added this profile in the "Profiles" section of the contribution page.

Now, I can fill out the contribution page (using the live url
http://nonpublic.gebuehrenzahler.de/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=2) without any problem.
However, after I'm done, the membership is not created. Also, in the confirmation mail, the custom fields are not inserted properly (Rather than the value I entered, it says "array"). As these custom fields are required for the membership, this might be part of the problem. An other symptom is, that when I fill out the form again, the address etc. are filled out, but the custom fields are not.

I would apreciate alot any hint on what I'm doing wrong.
