Adding images into Profiles
June 19, 2008, 09:07:40 am
Hi,

I saw all the discussion on adding images into Profiles... but it seems to stop in Feb 08, and I'm still having the problem with CiviCRM v2.0.4

I have used the File type to try and get images into my Profile listings.  Of the three types, jpg, gif, and png only gif works and only in the backend.  Jpg and png only show the file name (see below).

On the front end the jpg and pngs show up as file names and the gif show up as a red X.

Any suggestions??

Thanks.

can you replicate this on

http://sandbox.civicrm.org/

Once replicated, please file an issue (and let us know the urls there), and we'll fix for 2.1

Hi Lobo,

I tried adding images to the demo.civicrm.org, since the sandbox gave me an error when I tried to upload the images.

Anyway, created a Custom Field Group and three File fields.  Then I put the fields in a Member Directory Profile.  Then I uploaded the images alpaca.gif, crazy_pilot.jpg, and womencigar.png.  It looked like it took them.  But when I did the Save it gave me an error and came back with three empty fields (see below):

Thanks.
