Hey All,

I'm looking to develop an extension to generate a Contact's checksum via the REST API. 

A few months back I queried the CiviCRM Stack Exchange, when I was informed that this functionality didn't exist yet but should be relatively straightforward to implement. (http://civicrm.stackexchange.com/questions/4683/get-or-generate-a-contact-checksum-via-api)

My question to all of you - is anyone else interested in this functionality?  AND if anyone is aware of a workaround, it would be greatly appreciated!
