Chinese character
June 20, 2008, 03:11:11 am
I created a custom field and entered with two chinese characters data, e.g. 读本. After saving, the characters are displayed correctly. (Note: mySQL is using unicode)

However, when I want to edit this custom data, it is displayed as 读本 in the edit mode. It seems to me that each chinese character is represented by a code.

Anyway to correct this?

Hi, sorry for not getting back to you earlier with this. :(

I checked this on the current almost-stable CiviCRM 2.1 and can’t replicate it in any possible scenario. Can you please replicate the issue on our demo server and let us know how you did it, precisely?
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
