Hi Guys

I have stuck with the event and contact combination

I want to create the mailing label for event participants.... so I have seen that if someone is registered as participant then he will be automatic added as contact in CRM so I want to use the same interface for creating the mailing label for particiapnt so I wan trying to divert it to the contact mailing lablel interface....

but I got stuck it give me invalid key error... and I an not getting enough acquainted with the API basically I am not able to understand the API and its flow of code....

Any help or clue will be much helpful

You can do this without any coding / API work. Go to Advanced Search, open the Events pane and select the Event you want to list participants for (as well as any other participant criteria such as Status or Role). Click Search - and assuming you find one or more contacts - you can select "Mailing Labels" from the "- more actions -" drop-down.

If you want to try this on the public demo, start here:
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/search/advanced?reset=1

Select "Summer Solstice Festival Day Concert" as your Event and proceed :-)
