I have a couple questions regarding the ability to trigger emails from the "volunteer interest" form (https://docs.civicrm.org/volunteer/en/latest/interest-form/). I basically want to be able to:

1) Send a confirmation email to a potential volunteer who signs up using the volunteer interest form
2) Send an email to a volunteer coordinator to notify them about the signup

I see that this functionality is available for profiles (https://docs.civicrm.org/user/en/4.7/organising-your-data/profiles/ "Add new contacts to a group" and "Notify when profile form is submitted"). Also, the volunteer interest form appears to be implemented with profiles. Seems like a slam dunk, but it apparently you can't access the settings for a "reserved profile"! (in Administer > Customize > Profiles > Reserved Profiles tab). Is there something I'm missing here? Is email triggering possible for this form?
