CiviContribute Widget and Joomla
June 21, 2008, 06:31:29 am
I love the concept for the CivicContribute Widget, and I want to use it.  But when I try it with my Joomla 1.0.15 installation, hitting the Contribute! button sends me to the administrator online donation form rather than the Joomla public front end form.  Is there a way to manually change the URL to a specific page when they hit Contribute!  I looked at the SVN before release and it seems to be $data=button_url or something like that.  I am not a programmer, but I know enough to change things to be dangerous.

So my questions:

1) Is there a way to change the button url using the normal interface?
2) Where should I change it in the code (which code) to manually set it?
3) Is the generated SWF file editable so I can pass it to a Flash developer to customize it (Statue of Liberty thermometer, etc.)?
4) Is there a way to get the info of the last 10 contributors, say name, city, and state to have them displayed on a custom widget?

Thanks.
