Make a Custom Event Creation wizard for a specific event type

As I will create events of a type frequently, It is only needed to change the detail of the activity (ie, event title, event description,  time...) and other items wont be changed (ie. Message if Event is Full, address, online registration config)

Could I create a Custom Event Creation wizard for an event type that I only need to configure some aspect, and keep some aspect as default value only.

You can go to yoursite.com/civicrm/admin/event?reset=1, and just use the 'copy event' link which will in effect do what you want...you would then just change the pertinent info. Will this work?
