Civi 2.x clean install and 'Could not find valid value for ct' error
June 24, 2008, 06:58:29 am
So I got this error that I was hoping would be left behind with a clean install and 2.x.
But it is back.
When entering an Org it happens even if I just enter an Org Name.
Drupal is the CMS.
It could be a setting on my server after all this time?
I tried syncing users to see if that would help.
Check of Matching does the same.
I went back and did a search on this client and they where in Civi already
So the error may have said found matching?
So then I went to edit the client.
1. added to a few groups
2. added phone
3. added email
Same error
But if I did ONE at a time then no error?

I do have 2 other clients on this server with this problem using Civi 1.9x.
Some get around it by importing.
This though is a clean install w/ a few contacts now in it.
I was hoping 2.x would help here as well.
Any thoughts?

Do you have CiviCRM's Mapping feature enabled on these sites. If so, might want to see if turning it off fixes this (as noted here: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,213.0.html).

Thanks for the reply.
I have tried turning that off on all these sites.
This site, clean install, never had that on.
???
Any other ideas?

I vaguely remember some folks had issues related to "collation" of Drupal's "sessions" table not being unicode. There were also some comments about raising memory limits fixing this as well as possible problematic interactions w/ other drupal modules. Other than that, I guess I'd scan this forum for other occurrences of the problem and possible fixes.
