Support for Click and Pledge
June 25, 2008, 01:55:33 pm
To Whom it May Concern:

I just got a request from a client about using Click and Pledge for a political site I've done using CiviCRM. They were using it on their old site and were quite pleased with it. After the horror we just went through with PayPal Website Payments Pro (they kept us waiting for the better part of three weeks with requests for documentation, not to mention the Rube Goldberg-esque sandbox system), I'm very attentive to clients who say they've had a pleasant Paymaster Processor experience.

I saw a comment that there haven't been requests for Click and Pledge support, but that it was planned for inclusion in 2.1 - please consider this post a request, if you would. Also, if there's a existing script or scripts that could be incorporated into an existing 2.0.2 installation, I would be very interested. Thanks!

there is an issue with comments on it here: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-2136

we did not get a response back from irfan. You might want to follow up with them.

If click and pledge submits a patch against trunk for this along with a browser test cases, we'd be happy to incorporate it. The files they add will need to be released under the AFL license

I asked them what the status was and received the following reply:

Quote
We have integration with CiviCRM done for the hosted solution in our system. We are aiming to release the integration to the CiviCRM community towards the end of this year but for now it is only used for what we have internally. What is holding us back is really the requirements that need to be met before it can be released to the open source community.

So I guess they're workin' on it.
