Issue with standalone profile form layout ...
June 26, 2008, 09:18:51 am
I have the following profile form and I've copied the standalone form code out of CiviCRM and I have it in a Drupal node.  When I paste the code into the Drupal node and submit it, the page sticks all this extra white space above the profile form.  I tried tweaking the CSS but it doesn't seem to disappear - does anyone have suggestion on tightening up that extra space?  Is the form sticking an extra div in there?

Also, is there a way of disabling the + sign that expands the profile form = I don't want that functionality but it doesn't look like CiviCRM allows you to turn it off/disable it?  I just want the form to display normally without giving the users the option of closing the form with the + sign.

See attached screenshot.

You should use Custom template feature to customize the template and adjust the layout etc.

You can read more about customizing templates here: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Customize+Built-in+and+Profile+Screens
