Smarty has a strange path in civicrm_domain table...
July 01, 2008, 08:21:26 am
I noticed
fonts/";s:11:"captchaFont";s:17:"HelveticaBold.ttf";s:16:"enableComponents";a:4:{i:0;s:14:"CiviContribute";i:1;s:10:"CiviMember";i:2;s:9:"CiviEvent";i:3;s:8:"CiviMail";}s:11:"initialized";i:0;s:8:"daoDebug";i:0;s:9:"smartyDir";s:26:"/opt/local/lib/php/Smarty/";s:10:"pluginsDir";s:34:"/opt/local/lib/php/Smarty/plugins/";s:11:"templateDir";s:12:".
But this is no the right path

How do I change this to the proper path?
/var/www/web42/web/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/Smarty/
Thanks!
Al

I'm wondering how those values got there ??? Checked in my 2.0 and trunk (2.1) databases and those values are empty....

That said, it might fix things to run the built-in Update DB Configuration settings URL:

http://<your_drupal_site>/civicrm/admin/setting/updateConfigBackend?reset=1

Or you could force CiviCRM to reset all DB stored configuratino values to their defaults by setting civicrm_domain.config_backend to NULL and then refreshing a CiviCRM page.

So this is 1.9
I did the clear via the url you gave and also NULL the field and still it returns.
/opt/local/lib/php/Smarty/plugins
I can make a link to the right folder from here but there are numerous sites on this server?

I don't have any idea what's going on. I assume this "wrong" path is causing malfunction for you - altho you haven't stated that. Providing specific error messages etc might help??? Perhaps others  can provide some insight.

Well I have had problems in the past.
And I was told to come in here to clear out some settings.
We are moving to a new host and I am doing the move under the subdomain dev.
So I came in here to see if things where right and noticed this.
An un-related issue that I wonder if it ties to this is the infamous CT error and the Error that happens if there is a duplicate contact (ie not a nice message saying there is a duplicate but just a white page w/ an error window saying civi has errored out.
Both of these now make me wonder if they are trying to get template info and can not find it for obvious reasons.

So I am noticing this on sites I updated from 1.8 to 1.9 a while back.
Wondering if I can just change the path in that database entry?
Or will it just reset itself from some script?
