Import Civi Contacts and Drupal Users from Same File???

So, i have figured out this much:
1. creating a CiviCRM profile allows people to sign up for the site via the Drupal workflow, and have Civi records created at the same time. Very cool.
2. can now import contacts from *.csv file into Civi. Very cool.

But, when i do the import (#2) it doesn't create Drupal users, which we want for user self-service editing. Is there a way to make this happen, via a trigger or action or something???

You cannot create Drupal(CMS) user using Contact Import. One work around :

1. Use Drupal "User Import" module and create drupal users with same email(Primary email) as Contacts that you Imported in CiviCRM.
2. Then use "Synchronize Users to Contact"  feature of CiviCRM. This will link imported Drupal users with CiviCRM contacts.

Note: Email address used for creating Drupal user should be primary email address of contact in CiviCRM.

Ok, it mean that I'm obligated to use drupal 5.9 to import users, because the USER IMPORT module is ready only for 5.x drupal for 2008, and in future we don't know.. I'm right?
