Creating Drupal members after import
July 07, 2008, 11:36:45 am
Hi all.
I have an access database of members to import into Civicrm (running on Drupal 5.2). After importing, I'd like to a) create a Drupal name/password for each user, and b) automatically send them their passwords. Note that not all members have email addresses in the database.

Any thoughts on a good process to follow?

Thanks,

Shrill

Hi. I would do what was recommended here: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,3868.0.html

basically, use the Drupal Import module first, then "synchronize drupal users to civicrm contacts."

Should work fine.
