Please verify: is Drupal 6.x required for CiviCRM 2.1

   Please excuse this "where the heck has she been" question BUT, I have been under the impression that while Drupal 6.x is compatible with CiviCRM 2.1, it is not a requirement for it. I just learned from my co-worker that you can't install/upgrade to 2.1 with versions of Drupal earlier then 6.x. Can you please verify this for me?

Confirmed:
CiviCRM 2.1 and above will work only with Drupal 6
CiviCRM 2.0 and below work only with Drupal 5

I would like to know when /where CiviCRM 2.1 for Drupal 6.x can be downloaded? is it released in stable form yet?  Is there a projected release date?  I find info on it but so far, I am unable to find the actual download:)

2.1 is not available for download yet. Code freeze is next week and an alpha download should be available shortly thereafter. We will make an announcement to the forums at that time. Meanwhile, you can try it out online on our "sandbox" - http://sandbox.civicrm.org.
