shortcut on dashboard of scheduled activities

Hi,

I am running a basic system Drupal 5.7. with CiviCRM 2.0.4.

My other question is about the dashboard of scheduled activities. When I set up this dashboard, a menu ?Quick search? appeared automatically on the right edge of the screen, containing a lot of menu items that some users, according to their rights, are not supposed  to see or to use. It seems that I found no way to get rid of this menu. How can I make this menu or at least some of its items disappear ?

Pierre - Not sure if you mean the "Quick Search" block (search field and "Search" button), or the Menu block or the Shortcuts block? All links in the Menu block and Shortcuts block should be shown or hidden based on the user's permissions (set via Drupal Access Control for their role). Please post specific item(s) that you think are showing erroneously for a given user role, and list the permissions setting for the role.

My question concerning the menu blocks on the right hand side of the activity dashboard.
By using Drupal Access Control for Role I managed to hide single items in the menu block, like “CiviCRM administrieren”. But what I really want to do is to hide the blocks “Quick search”,”Menu” and “shortcuts” completely from that dashboard screen. (civicrm/dashboard?reset=1 ). Please see the dashboard-screen.jpg.

Any chance to get rid of them ?

Pierre - We'll be adding more "customization" options to the dashboard in 2.1 and beyond. But for now you can do this pretty easily using the "Customize CiviCRM Screens" approach described here:

The template you want to "customize" is:
templates/CRM/Contact/Page/View/DashBoard.tpl
