Restore Contacts from backup

Hello,

   I want to restore few contact on my life site from backup database. But i don't know how to restored these few contact with all related informtion ( actviities, groups, user accounts on Drupal, relationshops with organizations, notes ,etc)


Any kind of help will be much appericiated.

I'm not aware of any reasonable way to do this :-( The data is stored in quite a few related tables - so you'd have to use MySQL tools to dump "data only" for the contact records and all the related tables' records.

is there a way so that i could get all related tables with contacts in civicrm and in drupal so that i could not miss any
information regarding a contact.

I think it's pretty complete... obviously you'll want to test your dump / load with a test copy of your production DB.

  you could also create a new civicrm temporary install using the backup database. once you've got the all the civicrm contacts
in the temp install, you could search for the contacts you want to restore in the live install.

  from the search results of the contacts in the temp install, export the contacts and their fields into a csv file and then
use that file to import them into live site.
