Automatic line breaks in event description?

Is there a way to get lines to break automatically in CiviCRM event descriptions -- the same way that a newline in Drupal turns into a BR and two newlines into a P?

In 2.1, this field will use a Rich Text Editor (FCKEditor or TinyMCE - you choice) - and so will be easier to format. However, in 2.0 you can put HTML tags in the text field to create paragraphs etc. (<p>, <br />, etc.) - not as easy for non-tech users, but do-able.

That's great to hear!

Is there a release date for 2.1?
