Joomla Administrator Interface problems
June 08, 2007, 04:59:08 pm
Hi,

I just got this thing installed and the Administrator interface in Joomla makes it almost unusable.  I happened upon the interface in Drupal and my mouth dropped.  In Drupal, it's exactly what I thought it would be, icons, expandable sections (ie, with the plus character).  In Joomla, it looks like crap. I have attached pictures since they say 1000 words.

So the question is, did I screw something up when I installed or is this just the way it looks in Joomla?  If the later is the case, are there plans to make Joomla look like Drupal?  If so, when?

Thanks!
Patrick

THe drupal and Joomla admin interface are exactly the same. Most likely your resource url (administer civicrm >> global settings >> urls) is not valid and civicrm cannot load images (and js / css etc). so u might want to fix it :)
