I work for an academic institution and we're going to be using CiviCRM as our CRM (obviously Basically, we will be using memberships to track our various categories of administration (committees, staff, boards) and academic affiliates (visiting scholars, graduate students, faculty). But what this means is that theoretically one individual could belong to a long list of membership types (an individual was one a visiting scholar, and is now a full faculty, and also on a board and a committee).

I tested out an individual with two memberships on the demo site (which worked) and checked the documentation and didn't find anything that said there was a limit. But I thought I would double check with the experts too. So I just want to make sure that we can an individual can have multiple memberships without limits.
